Story ideas

• Comic Soup. An increasingly unhinged recipe for a soup. Stuff like, "if you don't have a soup blender, you can still use a potato masher, ricer, sieve, a fork, or even your fists to punch the vegetables into the soup until it becomes a fine puree", the author advertising its own brand of weird utensils, and also adding unexpected ingredients.
• Explore how stories can generate emotions. Take a specific emotion, maybe even a rare one, and try to build a story that amplifies it to the maximum.
• Same as the one above, but with other concepts than emotions. E.g. (heroic) fantasy world setting, hard/soft sci-fi that's fun and has a lot to learn from, ...
• A completely exaggerated tall tale, in the form of some invented tradition, like Paul Bunyany or other invented folklore (see wikipedia). Except there's increasingly, absolutely no way that it's remotely true.
• A story that puts some everyday concepts into an external perspective, or a completely foreign one. "They use very primitive coding techniques with programs in a tree-like structure with a single entrypoint" - extract of an alien analysis of human programming. Stuff like this.
• Absurd humour, surreal humour. Absurd jokes that untie reality like a light helium balloon. Stuff like H2G2, Monty Python...
